SCI COIN (SCI)

Scientific data is held by a few large companies. They charge authors for publishing articles and then sell the same data to universities and research centers. Monetary processes are becoming more expensive and complex daily due to intermediaries like banks, individuals, and even centralized software. Public data is being used for marketing by centralized companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Obtaining intellectual property rights is challenging and time-consuming. A patent takes at least three years to be accepted. Blockchain technology alone is insufficient for handling big data, especially for long paragraphs, figures, tables, and large files. A hybrid decentralized system based on blockchain, decentralized file systems (e.g., IPFS), and classical databases is needed.

Academicians, researchers, teachers, and students need additional earning resources. Decentralization technology must be applied in real-life DAPPs, not just finance and cryptocurrency. The evolution of the internet towards Web 3.0 must be accelerated. Many challenges pushed us to start this project, which we will discuss in detail.

As an academician, scientist, researcher, teacher, writer, editor, student, earner, and payer, I have felt that computer technology is ineffective in these fields. In short, there is a need for a hybrid blockchain that solves public problems without bias. This project aims to develop a decentralized network of nodes that is fully democratic, affordable, easy to use, and capable of addressing societal issues.
