Wrapped Paycoin (WPCI)

Wrapped Paycoin (WPCI) is a cryptocurrency payment platform for e-commerce and retail use. Developed by PayProtocol, this project is supported by Danal, a South Korean payment company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. By leveraging blockchain technology and Danal’s expertise, Wrapped Paycoin aims to address the challenges faced by traditional payment systems, such as excessive intermediaries, high fees, and slow payment schedules.

Based on the Hyperledger Fabric private blockchain system, Wrapped Paycoin ensures fast transactions and excellent privacy. Unlike general blockchains, it operates as a private blockchain network where only authorized nodes can participate. This feature makes it highly suitable for payment services, as it reduces verification costs and provides a secure and efficient environment for processing transactions.

Wrapped Paycoin offers a user-friendly and accessible payment solution by bridging the gap between users and merchants. The platform provides integration tools for retail and e-commerce settings, including API and SDK for e-commerce integration, development API for retail point of sale (POS) devices, and smartphone POS apps for merchants without POS systems. Users and merchants can also choose from a wide range of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and fiat money for their transactions. With a focus on merchant-friendliness, Wrapped Paycoin also offers an integrated merchant management system that allows merchants to manage transactions, apply promotions, and set payment-related policies.
