Many of these cats came with significant health issues, such as blindness or fatal diseases, highlighting the urgent need for a dedicated shelter. In light of their experiences, this initiative aims to ensure a permanent safe haven for those animals that, due to their conditions, face persistent difficulties in being rehomed. By focusing on both rescue and long-term care, NEKOMATA seeks to create a sustainable environment for its residents.
