Scor (SCOR)

Scor (SCOR) is a transformative protocol aimed at reshaping the fan economy in the multi-trillion-dollar sports industry. Traditionally, this industry has been characterized by centralized structures that limit fan participation and the use of intellectual property. SCOR introduces a peer-to-peer network where sports IP is registered as programmable assets on a universal ledger. This innovative approach allows fan engagement to be recorded as a verifiable, on-chain skill, unlocking the true economic potential of fan interactions and facilitating a decentralized economy that fosters direct value flow between IP holders and fans.

The SCOR protocol is designed to create a new class of assets by transforming fan engagement into verifiable on-chain proofs of skill. Future developments will integrate additional modules to enable skill-based interactions, creating permanent records of achievement within the ecosystem. Additionally, sports IP, including athlete likenesses, can be customized into yield-generating assets, offering more secure and innovative ways to engage across the network while ensuring fans are adequately rewarded for their participation.

As a deflationary model, SCOR features a unique three-way allocation structure that directs one-third of the platform’s transaction value to community rewards, another third to in-app purchase consumption, and the final third to the Treasury to support protocol development. This design aims to foster sustainable economic growth within the SCOR ecosystem, providing a reliable foundation for future phases, including the expansion into third-party development and the launch of the SCOR L1 mainnet, all of which contribute to establishing a robust infrastructure for global fandom.
