This Privacy Policy explains how Blockspot B.V. (Netherlands) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use blockspot.io. We only collect data that is necessary for the site to function and improve.
We use Google Analytics (loaded via Cloudflare Zaraz, which processes requests server-side before any data reaches Google) and Ahrefs Web Analytics (cookieless: Ahrefs collects no personal data). These tools collect aggregated usage statistics such as page views and session counts.
Our site uses the Sevio ad network (cdn.adx.ws) to display advertisements. Sevio may collect data about your visit for ad delivery, frequency capping, and targeting purposes, subject to its own privacy policy.
When you cast a bullish or bearish vote on a coin page, we store a keyed hash of your IP address (HMAC-SHA256), your browser user agent, and your vote. Your raw IP address is never stored. The hash is used solely to enforce one vote per visitor per day. Raw vote records are kept for a rolling 14-day window, after which only anonymous aggregate totals are retained.
When you submit our contact form or an exchange or company update form, we store your name and email address to respond to your message or process your request. This data is retained until you ask us to remove it.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address to send you crypto market updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email.
We use the following third-party services on Blockspot.io:
Google Analytics: loaded via Cloudflare Zaraz, which processes requests server-side before any data is sent to Google. This reduces the information shared with Google and improves your privacy. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Ahrefs Web Analytics: cookieless page view tracking. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected by this service. See Ahrefs' Privacy Policy.
Sevio: ad delivery network (cdn.adx.ws). Sevio may collect data for ad delivery, frequency capping, and targeting. See Sevio's Privacy Policy.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
