Blox (CDT) is a coin that powers decentralized ETH staking, providing a gateway to non-custodial, open-source ETH staking. With Blox, users can maximize their gains while ensuring the fairness and decentralization of the Ethereum network. The platform allows users to set up and run their validators from a self-contained Desktop App while keeping their validator keys secured in a personalized remote signer, KeyVault, on their preferred cloud account. Blox also offers a specialized plugin for signing functionalities and slashing protection, ensuring users never miss a duty or sign when they’re not supposed to.

Blox takes a non-custodial approach to staking, meaning they do not hold users’ withdrawal or signing keys. This approach promotes transparency, as the platform is open-source and audited. Thanks to Blox’s scalable infrastructure, users can operate as many validators as they want and manage them on a single dashboard. By participating in staking ETH, users help secure the network and receive compensation in exchange. Regarding the roadmap, Blox has an internal alpha release planned for July ’20 and a public beta release in September ’20. The full product release is expected in Q4 ’20, followed by the launch of decentralized staking pools testnet in Q1 ’21 and the integration of CDT 2.0 in Q3 ’21.
