Davos (DAVOS) is a next-generation inflation-proof stablecoin that aims to unlock the power of liquid staking. By embracing liquid staking for scalable yield, the Davos Protocol introduces DUSD. This inflation-proof stablecoin provides users with a firm foundation for expanding and maintaining the viability of their investment portfolios. The governance token, DGT, empowers holders to shape the monetary policy of DUSD stablecoin, enabling them to participate in the protocol’s decision-making process.

With the Davos Protocol, users can collateralize Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) to borrow the DUSD stablecoin. By locking DGT in 80-20 Balancer Liquidity Pools, users exercise their veDGT voting power on Liquidity and Borrowing Gauges, influencing yield distribution and incentivizing borrowing across diverse collateral pools. Davos Protocol’s robust system safeguards against inflation, preserving wealth and purchasing power.

Users can stake or lend DUSD, providing liquidity to decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and other stablecoins. By doing so, they can earn more DUSD or DEX rewards. The 4.9% minimum borrowing rate for DUSD represents the Consumer Price Index (CPI) Annual Change and ensures stable borrowing conditions.
