Meetin Token (METI) is a blockchain-based coin part of the METAPLANET project, a metaverse platform service developed by GRID Inc. The platform, known as “moim,” provides users with an advanced spatial Internet experience, combining AR, VR, 2D media, 3D objects, and an avatar system. It offers a range of 3D spaces with modular functions, a marketplace, and a creator community, making it suitable for large-scale industry projects and conferences. The METI token is used by users of the moim platform developed by GRID Inc. to access its services and functions.

moim, the flagship service of METAPLANET, is a cross-platform educational and conference platform that supports various connections, including PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and virtual reality devices. The platform has attracted over 100,000 users and is expected to secure more regular users in the Open-beta phase starting in the second quarter of 2022. With its focus on education and conferences, moim aims to expand its services to encompass entertainment, games, healthcare, sports, virtual pets, travel, and corporate branding events. It plans to develop an NFT marketplace and form an ecosystem of influencers and creators.

The token economy of Meetin Token revolves around the future development phases of moim. In phase 1, a freemium paid subscription model will be implemented, providing free credits to schools and businesses while optimizing the user experience for education and conferences. Phase 2 will introduce a play-to-earn model, focusing on content and digital items, and forming partnerships with domestic and overseas content providers to engage users.
