Gold Pressed Latinum (GPL)

Gold Pressed Latinum (GPL) is a cryptocurrency that was created as part of the United SciFi Coin (SCIFI) project. SCIFI is based on the Novacoin and scrypt algorithm and was launched on August 15, 2017. SCIFI aims to consolidate all the assets from previous SciFi coins, including KED, UFC, GPL, DPZ, and QBT. 20% of the premined coins were distributed to holders of these assets.

One of the unique features of SCIFI is its PoW (Proof of Work) + PoS (Proof of Stake) blockchain, which provides a balanced combination of security and efficiency. The blockchain has a 50:50 ratio between PoW and PoS, offering maximum protection against 51% attacks. SCIFI also offers stealth addresses for anonymous transactions, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.

Regarding technical specifications, SCIFI uses the Scrypt algorithm for PoW. The stake spacing is set at 3 minutes, the PoW spacing at 3 minutes, and the final block spacing at 1.5 minutes. The PoS rewards users with 100% yearly interest, while the PoW rewards miners with ten coins. The coin boasts a maximum supply of 175 million coins, with a 10% premine allocated for coin swaps.
