Helios Protocol (HLS) is a decentralized application platform that aims to revolutionize the internet by facilitating high-speed decentralized applications. Since its inception in 2018, the project has delivered its promises and developed a novel platform based on parallel blockchains connected through a DAG. This innovative approach required immense dedication from the team and community.

Despite the team’s efforts, adoption has not occurred at the necessary rate to sustain the project. As an open-source project relying on volunteers, keeping up with the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency landscape has become challenging. Therefore, the Helios Protocol team has decided to shut down all team nodes and web servers in two months.

The team expresses deep gratitude towards the community for their exceptional commitment and long-term vision for decentralization. While the Helios Protocol platform may no longer continue, some team members will take on new roles to help guide the community toward other crypto and blockchain-related directions. The community can decide on a new name by voting on the Discord server, ensuring its continued existence.
