Karat (KAT)

Karat (KAT) is a cryptocurrency launched on the KaratDAO Mainnet. It is an innovative token that connects the Web2 and Web3 worlds to bridge the gap between centralized and decentralized data networks. Powered by multi-party computation (MPC) and zero-knowledge (ZK) technologies, Karat allows users to confidently create verifiable credentials for their Web2 data and authorize its usage. Karat is built on a dual-NFT tokenomic design, with two distinct roles – Validator and Claimer. Validators pay to mint tokens and participate in the network’s activities. These tokens are tradable and backed by a referral number, making them ideal for influential leaders. On the other hand, Claimers can mint tokens for free and possess soulbond tokens backed by their credentials. This role is designed for users who want to authorize their data and interact with the network. With Karat, users can securely sign in with their Ethereum wallets, ensuring data ownership and protection.
