RefToken (REF), the world’s first decentralized affiliate platform, aims to connect developers with brands and marketers to help new projects gain mainstream adoption. As the Ethereum DAP ecosystem expands towards B2C applications, RefToken recognizes the need for companies to acquire end users faster than blockchain tech adoption. Smart contracts will secure all revenue and conversion data on a blockchain to establish trustless relationships. Merchants will buy tokens and hold them in escrow with RefToken, ensuring ample funds for affiliate payments. In 2017, RefToken released a reviewed white paper and business plan and formed the Blockchain Affiliation Alliance with 20 prominent blockchain companies. They also launched a platform prototype and held an ICO presale, offering a 100% bonus. The ICO occurred from November to December, with the token price increasing over the 30 days. 2018 RefToken released a technical Yellow Paper and launched a public beta. The full launch of RefToken 1.0 is planned for 2019.
