Vanillacash (XVC)

“Vanillacash (XVC) shares the same basic network and cryptographic principles as Bitcoin. Its origins as Vanillacoin (VNL) date back to the early days of crypto, with subsequent re-branding into Vanillacash (or “Vcash”). The legacy code featured Peercoin’s Proof-of-Stake and Bitcoin’s Proof-of-Work consensus framework. These fundamental block generation principles are followed to this day.

Since 2018, we have been a member of the EWMCI ecosystem (alliance.ewmci.info) and restored our full name, “Vanillacash” (along with a vanilla leaf-based logo), to differentiate XVC from various “V”-themed projects. Following a community vote, we recently implemented the “Vanillacash 2022″ upgrade, complete with Atomic Swap (BIP-65) compatibility, sustainable PoW / PoS reward structure, more secure HMQ1725 protocol, and more democratic stake distribution mechanisms.”
