Weft Finance (WEFT)

Weft Finance (WEFT) is a decentralised lending and borrowing platform built on RadixDLT. Users can deposit assets to earn interest and use them as collateral for borrowing. The platform allows for creating and transferring Wefties, which represent deposits and loans. This effectively decouples the user’s account from the dApp, providing flexibility and accessibility to financial services.

Weft Finance offers innovative features such as uncollateralized loans through the Delegator-Delegatee relationship. Delegated Wefties enable borrowers to access loans without traditional collateral. The delegator can set debt ceilings for delegates as a fixed amount or ratio relative to available collateral. This system promotes lending efficiency and supports the growth of the platform.

Besides its unique loan delegation mechanism, Weft Finance incorporates various modes to enhance user experience. The flexible collateral ratio configuration allows borrowing power to be based on the supplied asset and the intended asset.
