BEAMX (BEAMX)

BEAMX is a governance token associated with the BEAMX DAO, a platform that aims to bring decentralized and privacy solutions to the cryptocurrency space. The BEAMX DAO is built on the Beam, a layer-one privacy blockchain. The platform fosters a global community of researchers, developers, and activists who collaborate to maintain, develop, and promote Beam and financial privacy. Stakeholders of the ecosystem can exercise their voting rights through ownership of the BEAMX governance token, with the added benefit of complete privacy regarding choices, identity, and holdings.

The BEAMX Platform is a proposed feature that will enable the submission and voting of BeamX DAO proposals. Any individual can submit a proposal, which BEAMX DAO facilitators then review. Proposal suggestions are uploaded seven days before the next voting cycle, which occurs approximately every two weeks or after 20,160 blocks. The voting process will occur through a Decentralized Application (DAPP) embedded in the BeamX wallet, allowing for seamless participation.

The BEAMX token is a single governance token for the suite of DAPPs and the Beam protocol. It operates as a Confidential Asset on the Beam blockchain, offering privacy to token holders. With a total supply of 100 million and a four-year emission schedule, the BEAMX token can be obtained by staking Beam. The token distribution encompasses various entities, including development funds, adoption and liquidity mining programs, ecosystem partners, the foundation, and investors. The BEAM Foundation Limited holds the rights to the Beam project, enforcing the copyright for the year 2022.
