DefHold (DEFO)

DefHold is a non-inflationary DeFi ecosystem aiming to provide yield-generating investment strategies to long-term crypto holders in both markets, Pump and dump. The project aims to offer a solution for securing assets during market dumps beyond converting assets to stablecoins. DefHold rewards holders with accurate portfolio and liquidity management by implementing autonomous yield-generating solutions. The native token of the DefHold ecosystem is called DEFO, and it enables holders to stake or farm their assets into pools with different lock-up periods. Early withdrawal fees are applied if assets are withdrawn before the lock-up period ends, forming a revenue stream for stakers and farmers.

DefHold has implemented two mechanisms to continuously generate yields for stakers and farmers in a non-inflationary way. The first mechanism involves applying a transfer fee on every DEFO token transfer, which is then redistributed to stakers and farmers. This distinguishes DefHold from other inflationary tokens that need to mint new tokens to enhance their APY continuously. The second mechanism is through staking and farming pools with different lock-up periods, allowing investors to earn rewards and avoid early withdrawal fees by managing their cash flow forecasts and portfolio allocation.

DefHold also plans to introduce a fully decentralized governance platform, empowering users to vote for new pools, changing fee rates, and proposing future developments within the ecosystem. Furthermore, a new innovative financial product inspired by traditional finance will launch by the end of 2020 and be managed by the community governance platform. DefHold aims to maintain buying pressure on DEFO tokens and ensure a high total value locked (TVL) by implementing various features, such as capping the total supply of DEFO and requiring DEFO holdings to access new token pools.
