Redacted Money (RED)

Redacted Money (RED) is a decentralized and open-source cryptocurrency protocol for interchain privacy. It is not owned or controlled by any administrators or moderators. The protocol provides a public service to the Terra community, offering privacy features and tools for secure and confidential transactions. RED allows users to top up their private balance using a redacted asset, send tokens to any other wallet address without revealing their identity or transaction history, and verify ownership or grant access to transaction information using ZK-based tools like Proof of Innocence or viewing keys. With RED, users have the power to maintain financial privacy while ensuring compliance when necessary.

Redacted Money empowers users with privacy and compliance capabilities. The protocol utilizes secure viewing keys and Trusted Third Party (TTP) designations, allowing users to selectively disclose transaction details for tax compliance or law enforcement requests. The Proof of Innocence protocol adds a layer of security, enabling users to prove their commitment is not in a given list of commitments, ensuring they are not flagged for illegal activities.
