Absorber (ABS) is a decentralized deflationary yield farming protocol that aims to revolutionize the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) by addressing some of its major challenges. This includes tackling issues like rugs, bugs, hyperinflation, gas costs, and impermanent losses. Through its innovative design, Absorber aims to provide solutions to these problems, offering users a more secure and efficient platform for their DeFi activities.

The protocol operates by implementing an absorption mechanism that locks a portion of the circulating supply from all transactions. This compounding cure creates upward price pressure by exponentially absorbing the number of tokens in circulation relative to the growing balance. Additionally, the absorbing mechanism includes a 2% tax on every sale of ABS tokens, which is absorbed by the smart contract and added back as permanent trading liquidity. This not only adds more liquidity but also automatically increases the price, creating an upward floor-locking mechanism.

Absorber offers its investors both passive and active yield farming opportunities. Passive farming is enabled through the rebalancing mechanic in the ABS token’s contract, which allows investors to earn automatic yield simply by holding ABS in their wallets. On the other hand, active farming incentivizes users to supply liquidity to the protocol through an active yield farming function. ABS’s fully secured vaults provide some of the highest Annual Percentage Yield (APY) in the DeFi space. Additionally, Absorber’s tokenomics allocates 30% of the total supply as rewards to all active yield farming activities, further benefiting its users.
