ECOx (ECOX)

ECOx (ECOX) is a decentralized currency that aims to create a new type of Economy that operates transparently and in the collective best interest of its users. It combines the ambition of building a better currency with the technology for currencies to be managed independently by their communities. The Eco App and its network of partners are creating products that bridge the gap between the mainstream world and cryptocurrency, allowing everyone to access crypto-powered financial services and onboard them to the Eco Currency.

The Eco community is driven by real consumers actively working towards further adoption of Eco. With deep economic discussions and creative content, the community is unified by the goal of making Eco more widely used. The currency, $ECO, is governed by its monetary policy, implemented by a group of elected Eco users called ‘Trustees.’ These Trustees use better data and tools, with clearer incentives, to set the policies, making Eco’s governance model unique in creating a real economy.

Within the Eco Currency system, there are two tokens: $ECO and $ECOx. $ECO is the base currency for spending and saving, with its supply governed by monetary policy. On the other hand, $ECOx is the secondary token that facilitates sound governance and supports responsible system growth. Eco aims to not only provide value but also uphold the values of its users. It recognizes the changing nature of our society, where people connect based on shared values rather than geographical location and strives to create a currency that aligns with those values.
