With Farm Defi, farmers, and buyers can track and trace the origins of food crops and meats, relying on immutable ledger accounts that provide full details of the products. The platform captures real-time information through technologies like Animal Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Global Positioning System (GPS). Node Validators inspect and approve the materials sold on the platform, ensuring quality crops and products. Additionally, Farm Defi includes a marketplace where farmers can list their items and connect with thousands of other farmers and buyers, promoting transparency, fair trade, and user-friendly transactions. The platform’s ecosystem involves farmers, storage facilities, buyers, logistics providers, and a trading platform, all working together to create a virtual place of trade with easy access for everyone.

Behind Farm Defi is a dedicated team of founders, including Alakanani Itireleng (CEO, founder, and responsible for research, development, and innovation), Felix Ugoji (Co-founder and President, serving as the Chief Technical Officer), Koketso Pelo (Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer), Anderson Itereling (Co-Founder and Vice President, Chief Operation Officer), Kgosi Gaetsewe (Chief Finance Officer), Tuelo Baikgatlhi (Chief Communication Officer), Trevor Musa (Chief Business Development Officer), and Sujeet Kumar (Chief Marketing Officer Ecosystem Development). Farm Defi partnered with Physix Sapiens Systems, based in Maine, USA, which specializes in reverse engineering human nature and cybernetics into a universal pictograph language conveying mathematical, scientific, and metaphysical concepts.
