Jur (JUR)

Jur (JUR) is a blockchain project focused on building the future of governance, known as DeGov. With the aim of creating a 1-click country ecosystem, Jur enables the development of new societal models and organizations. The platform currently boasts over 2,700 Jur Citizens who can obtain a free NFT passport to participate in the pre-constitutional citizenship phase. Through Jur’s unique token model, $JUR holders can stake and vote, earning a percentage of any Network State token created on Jur by society founders.

The Jur Network is the infrastructure powering Societies, Countries, and Network States. It offers a modular network state stack, built with Substrate, that allows the creation of censorship-resistant communities evolving into new societal constructs such as nations and states. With functionalities like the Treasury Module, Dispute Resolution Module, Community Module, Oracle Module, and Trade Module (work in progress), Jur provides the necessary tools for experimenting with societal models and governance on the blockchain.

The $JUR token is a deflationary asset designed to support the Jur Network Flywheel and coordinate the actors within the distributed system. It is required for every transaction on the network, with 20% burned. $JUR tokens are also used to reward active community treasuries and pay collators who provide hardware and computation to support network functionality. Holding $JUR tokens allows users to generate weJUR, a daily reward that grants airdrops of new society native tokens issued on Jur. The Jur project is supported by investors, advisors, and visionary private contributors who are leading the future of Web3.
