POA Network (POA)

POA Network, identified by the ticker POA, has recently merged with the Gnosis ecosystem. Although the token swap opportunity has expired, POA tokens remain utilized on the POA network to cover transaction costs. Notably, these tokens have been delisted from reputable exchanges; hence, they no longer possess any associated financial value. As of now, swapping POA or POA20 tokens is no longer possible.

Previously, users could swap POA for the STAKE token on xDai at a rate of 466.6163443 POA per 1 STAKE. This pricing was determined using a TWAP (Time-weighted Average Price) calculation based on the two tokens between October 21, 2021, and November 3, 2021. However, this opportunity to swap tokens ceased on May 5, 2022. Although the network will continue to operate in a staging capacity, it will no longer have value-based emissions or rewards. It is essential to refrain from sending STAKE directly to Huobi or Gate exchanges from the xDai chain, as this will result in the loss of tokens. The only exchange accepting STAKE from xDai is ASCENDEX. If intending to use other exchanges, bridging STAKE to Ethereum is necessary, with associated Ethereum gas fees to be considered.
