Risq Protocol (RISQ)

RISQ Protocol (RISQ) is a decentralized risk and asset management platform that allows users to hedge their crypto holdings against price dips using on-chain call and put options. It enables the creation of DeFi hedge funds for asset managers, investors, and traders, providing a way to speculate or protect their crypto assets. The platform offers non-custodial call-and-put options on the blockchain, allowing users to buy call options with less capital at risk and buy-put options to protect their assets from short-term price dips.

RISQ Protocol offers an options trading platform where liquidity providers can deposit tokens on which they wish to write (sell) options. They earn 100% of the premium every time a call or put option is purchased. Option buyers can purchase calls and put options in ETH or BNB, choosing the strike price and paying a settlement fee of 1% to RISQ holders. RISQ holders can stake their tokens and earn rewards in the underlying crypto they want to stake.

Besides options trading, RISQ Protocol offers decentralized options writing. Traders who write an option receive a fee, or premium, in exchange for giving the option buyer the right to buy or sell shares at a specific price and date. As an automated market maker (AMM), traders no longer have to worry about market making, strike prices, or expiration dates. The platform supports multiple tokens for trading options, including Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and more. Users can also earn passive daily income by staking their tokens in RISQ staking contracts.
