Blockport, formerly known as BUX, is transitioning away from its cryptocurrency services, offering users two potential paths for managing their crypto positions. One option involves migrating positions to Coinmerce, a DNB-registered Dutch trading platform that emphasizes user-friendliness and security. Users can transfer all their current crypto holdings, excluding the BUX Token, seamlessly and at no cost by consenting to the migration and agreeing to the terms provided by Coinmerce.

The migration process to Coinmerce requires users to provide their consent, complete necessary KYC processes, create a new account, and transfer their assets. Following the successful onboarding, an email will be sent to users to finalize the setup of their Coinmerce account, where their crypto assets will be readily accessible. This approach is designed to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining access to a diverse portfolio of over 350 assets on the Coinmerce platform.

For those who opt not to migrate their assets to Coinmerce, Blockport offers the alternative to sell their crypto holdings on the BUX platform before the deadline of March 18, 2024. After this cut-off date, any remaining positions will automatically be transferred to Coinmerce. The utility of the BUX Token will cease on March 19, 2024; however, users holding a minimum of 1,000 BUX Tokens in the app as of December 18, 2023, will benefit from a twelve-month waiver of service fees at BUX and transaction fees on Coinmerce, should they decide to migrate their assets.
