USDL (USDL) is the gas token for LGCY Network, a fast and low-cost Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) blockchain. Unlike traditional gas systems that use bandwidth and energy, LGCY Network utilizes USDL as the gas for transactions and server fees. With 1 USDL equivalent to $1 worth of transaction/server fees, it provides stability and convenience for users. USDL is a stablecoin, meaning stakeholders and node operators will receive payouts in this safe and stable token instead of a volatile one.

With its fast network capable of processing over 10,000 transactions per second, LGCY Network ensures quick and efficient confirmations. It is also EVM compatible, allowing developers to build on the platform in a familiar way using the same tools and applications available on Ethereum. Furthermore, as an open-source platform, LGCY Network provides accessibility for dApps and smart contract launches at a low cost. Using USDL as a stablecoin within the ecosystem adds further utility and value to the network.

Tokenomics for LGCY Network include the burning and freezing 79% of the total LGCY supply, ensuring scarcity. The remaining 21 billion tokens will be circulating within the LGCY Network ecosystem. The team has kept 33% of the total voting power and control supply, but these tokens will be burned to transition the project to community governance. The tokens not burned will be eligible for developers building on the LGCY Network, providing funding and liquidity for the ecosystem.
