About INT Chain
INT Chain, originally launched as Internet Node Token (INT) in August 2017, was an IoT-focused blockchain project that aimed to create a decentralised communication and transaction layer for machine-to-machine (M2M) networks. The project conducted its initial coin offering in 2017, raising funds to build infrastructure that would allow connected devices, sensors, and industrial machines to interact directly without central intermediaries. The team behind INT Chain was primarily based in South Korea and China and positioned the project within the growing intersection of blockchain technology and the Internet of Things.
In 2019, the project rebranded from Internet Node Token to INT Chain and migrated from the Ethereum network to its own independent mainnet. This transition reflected ambitions to build a purpose-built protocol optimised for low-power device communication, micropayment settlement between machines, and data integrity verification at the network edge. The INT Chain mainnet used a delegated proof-of-stake consensus mechanism and introduced features intended for real-world deployment in smart cities, logistics tracking, and industrial automation. At its peak, the circulating supply reached approximately 449.56 million INT out of a capped total of one billion tokens.
INT Chain remained active through the early 2020s but gradually lost momentum as the IoT blockchain sector struggled to achieve mainstream enterprise adoption. Development activity declined noticeably from 2023 onward, and the official website at intchain.io went offline in late 2024. Social media channels became inactive around the same period. The project is now considered discontinued, with no evidence of continued development, community activity, or recovery plans. Existing token holders retain their INT tokens on the original chain, but the ecosystem supporting trading, staking, and application development is no longer functional.
