Smart Layer Network (SLN)

Smart Layer Network (SLN) is a decentralized services network that supports all Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains, aiming to deliver a new wave of digital asset value creation. It introduces a new token paradigm with executable tokens based on the ERC-5169 token standard for executable script. These tokens utilize TokenScript, a framework that Smart Token Labs developed to enable rich functions and full composability that decentralized applications (DApps) often struggle to implement.

Since its establishment in 2017, Smart Token Labs has been working towards its vision of a tokenized web. The team behind Smart Layer Network includes experienced professionals such as CEO & Co-founder Victor Zhang, CTO & Co-founder Weiwu Zhang, Lead Dev & Co-founder James Brown, and Chief Marketing Officer Brent Annells. Backed by prominent investors and supported by leading Web3 investors, Smart Layer Network has continued developing and implementing executable token technology, focusing on use cases in loyalty, events, and entertainment.

The roadmap for Smart Layer Network includes several milestones, including adopting the ERC-5169 standard as a new Ethereum standard in 2022/2023. This milestone will enable the creation of executable and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), called Smart Tokens, by Smart Token Labs. The launchpad beta phase, currently invite-only, serves as a central hub for developers and end-users to create, explore, and distribute executable tokens and NFTs. Ultimately, the Smart Layer Network aims to bring the Smart Token Ecosystem to life in 2025, supporting all EVM tokens to carry a front end, advanced utility, and greater information for widespread adoption.
