Users can create Upfire files by uploading them to the application and setting a file price denominated in BNB. The platform features free seeding, building upon the robust torrenting ecosystem, and paid seeding, allowing users to put a price on their files for others to access.

To provide fast speeds and near-free transactions, Upfire utilizes the Binance Smart Chain. Users can utilize BSC micropayments to pay for desired files on the network and set their file prices according to their preferences. The Upfire community retains full control of the protocol, enabling members to participate in governance through passing proposals, acquiring funding from the treasury, and contributing to the platform’s development.
