UTXO (UTXO)

UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) is a fundamental concept in Bitcoin transactions. It functions as a token representing a specific amount of spendable Bitcoin. Each UTXO holds proof of ownership, indicating that the holder possesses Bitcoin that can be used for future transactions. When Bitcoins are spent, UTXOs are used as inputs to the transaction, generating new UTXOs as outputs.

The UTXO model is crucial in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Transactions comprise inputs and outputs, where inputs reference previously unspent UTXOs, and outputs create new UTXOs. Each UTXO has an associated Bitcoin value and a script defining spending conditions. As transactions are verified and added to the blockchain, the used UTXOs are marked as spent and removed from the UTXO set. Simultaneously, new UTXOs are added to the set, ensuring that all Bitcoin is accounted for without the risk of double-spending.

The maximum coin quantity of UTXO is 100,000, totaling 13,481 mints. The overall supply of UTXO is 1,000,000,000, and it currently has 1,918 holders. UTXO operates on the SRC-20 chain and began its journey on May 23, 2023. UTXO is also traded on the secondary market platforms OpenStamp and Stampscan.
