Bitcoin RM (BCRM)

Bitcoin RM (BCRM) is the first Smart Fork of Bitcoin, launched specifically to empower Retail Merchants. It utilizes 100% Proof of Work mining with an average block time of 60 seconds. The coin has a 0.1% premine and dynamic mining rewards. It is also the first Bitcoin fork to use Equihash 144/5 for every block and LWMA2 difficulty adjustment. With its focus on retail merchant empowerment, Bitcoin RM aims to provide a cryptocurrency solution for everyone.

Bitcoin RM has an ambitious roadmap that includes milestones such as the Affiliate System, RM Card, and Payment Forwarder. These features are designed further to support retail merchants and the entire user community. The fork is scheduled for August 2018, with a snapshot of Bitcoin UTXOs of at least 0.001 BTC around mid-August. The main net is set to launch around the last week of August, allowing anyone with internet access and a GPU to mine on their computer.

The Bitcoin RM team comprises dedicated members such as Johnny, the founder who conceived and started the project; Raphael, the co-founder; Marcus, the project manager; and Withan, the lead developer and system administrator. The team’s planned roadmap includes goals such as finishing claims from Bitcoin holders, launching the RM Card, implementing the Lightning Network, and testing Cross-Chain Atomic Swap with Bitcoin and other popular Altcoins. They also have plans to develop mobile wallets for Android and iPhone devices in the future.
