DeFinity (DEFX)

DeFinity (DEFX) is a decentralized digital asset exchange specializing in trading traditional and digital assets through smart contracts, focusing on real-time settlement and clearing. It aims to bridge the power of decentralization with a traditional broker and liquidity provider community, catering towards the future support of CBDCs (central bank digital currencies) and decentralized financial services for FX. DeFinity is a joint project between DMALINK, a foreign currency trading and liquidity platform, and WeOwn, a blockchain provider focused on digital assets and services.

The DeFinity platform offers a layer 2 DEX solution that links with major and popular blockchains, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, and Cardano, based on WeOwn’s $CHX layer 1 blockchain. It provides a trading and match-making user interface for institutional traders, an intuitive mobile app for retail traders, and token wallet/staking features. The platform boasts a hybrid on-chain order book with built-in automated market maker (AMM) features. It is fully decentralized, offering staking, pooling, and other liquidity incentives.

With a team comprising experienced industry professionals, including CEO Manu Choudhary and CTO Sascha Ragtschaa, DeFinity is set to redefine decentralized finance. The project has gained media attention for its partnership with DMALINK and WeOwn and its commitment to upgrading the FX trading experience through its decentralized DeFi exchange. As the platform continues to develop, it has a roadmap that includes launching a regulated trading license, expanding into equities and debt trading, and even an IPO in 2024.
