Evernode (EVR)

Evernode (EVR) is a coin that offers Seriously Smart Contracts for the XRP ecosystem. It aims to provide a global permission-less, decentralized layer 2 for ultra-flexible and ultra-powerful dApps. With Evernode, dApps can be written in almost any language, deployed at any scale, and perform like a normal app but in a decentralized way.

Evernode introduces the concept of Membership NFTs, which hosts can buy to join the network. These NFTs identify the host, confirm its network membership, and represent its free Evernode software license. Additionally, hosts can mint Hosting NFTs that represent an exclusive lease of a hosting slot in exchange for hourly hosting fees in Evers. These NFTs can be traded on the Xahau Network.

Evernode is a global, permissionless network where anyone can download the software, join the network, and offer dApp hosting services to others. The decentralized nature of Evernode is maintained by an automated account on the Xahau Network, which controls all registrations. Furthermore, Evernode functions as a “network of networks,” as each dApp operates as a mini-blockchain (AppChain) comprised of the hosts on which it runs.
