Kambria (KAT)

Kambria (KAT) is an Ethereum-based project that runs an open innovation platform focused on Deep Tech, including artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual and augmented reality, the Internet of Things, and blockchain. The platform connects researchers, engineers, and developers with companies and institutions that want to co-fund and co-own technology solutions. Kambria is operated by a team headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City and has partnered with universities, hardware manufacturers, and government agencies on robotics and AI initiatives.

The KAT token is an ERC-20 asset used inside the Kambria ecosystem. It powers reward payouts to contributors who complete development challenges, payments for licensing intellectual property published on the platform, and fees tied to NFT-based IP licenses. Token holders can also participate in Kambria DAOs, which let community members co-own and govern individual deep tech projects and share in revenue once those projects are commercialised. KAT launched in December 2018 with a maximum supply of 3.8 billion tokens. Reported circulating supply currently sits below 1.5 billion, well under the original cap, with a portion of the supply removed from circulation over time. The Kambria website, blog, and social channels (Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Medium) remain active, and the ERC-20 contract at 0x14da230d6726c50f759bc1838717f8ce6373509c continues to record on-chain transfers. Trading activity for KAT is comparatively thin, so users evaluating the token should review recent volume and liquidity before relying on its market price.
