LunaOne (XLN)

LunaOne (XLN) was a cryptocurrency token built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), created to serve as the native currency of the LunaOne metaverse ecosystem. The project launched in 2022 following a presale fundraise and aimed to combine gaming, social interaction, and virtual reality within a single blockchain-powered platform. XLN functioned as the medium of exchange for in-world purchases, digital land ownership, and governance participation across the LunaOne virtual world. The total supply was set at 10 billion XLN tokens, all of which entered circulation without a hard cap on the overall maximum issuance.

LunaOne positioned itself as a gaming and social VR destination on BSC, targeting users who wanted to own digital assets, attend virtual events, and trade in-world goods using XLN. The project had no connection to Terra Luna (LUNA) or Luna Classic (LUNC); the shared name was coincidental, and LunaOne operated entirely as an independent BSC token with its own smart contract and team. During its active period, the platform attracted attention through its presale model and metaverse roadmap, though it faced the broader challenges that affected many GameFi and metaverse projects during the 2022 to 2024 market cycle.

LunaOne ceased operations in October 2024. The official website lunaone.com is no longer active and the domain has since been listed for sale. Development activity stopped and no further updates were issued by the team. XLN tokens continue to exist on the BSC blockchain and remain transferable, but the platform they were designed for is no longer functional. The project is considered discontinued. Investors and users should treat any XLN holdings accordingly, as there is no active development team, no working product, and no roadmap for continuation.
