NEKOMATA (ticker: NEKOMATA) is a unique cryptocurrency project that aims to address the challenges faced by animals with disabilities, specifically focusing on cats that struggle to find homes. The NEKOMATA project is motivated by experiences from a past rescue operation, where nearly 60 cats in dire conditions were saved from neglect. Many of these cats came with significant health issues, such as blindness or fatal diseases, highlighting the urgent need for a dedicated shelter. In light of their experiences, this initiative aims to ensure a permanent safe haven for those animals that, due to their conditions, face persistent difficulties in being rehomed. By focusing on both rescue and long-term care, NEKOMATA seeks to create a sustainable environment for its residents.
