The TREES token is a utility asset for offsetting carbon footprints and is designed to reward token holders. It also acts as a token for the community’s Tree Adoption Marketplace. Safetrees has developed a user-friendly mobile application that helps tree growers monitor, authenticate, and validate tree growth status. Tree growers can tokenize their real growing trees as TREES-NFT and trade them on the Tree Adoption Marketplace, where anyone can adopt a TREES-NFT or buy carbon offsets to support environment-centered projects.

The Safetrees project is community-centric and focuses on sustainable value creation. The token distribution was initially seeded as liquidity and locked to protect investors against rug-pulls. Safetrees’ smart contract design includes measures to cut the total supply in circulation and implements gradual manual burning of up to 70% of the token supply. The project also incorporates a frictionless auto-liquidity mechanism to increase token liquidity.
