Vow (VOW)

Vow (VOW) is an ERC-20 token deployed on the Ethereum blockchain, with a bridged version available on BNB Chain. The token is issued by Vow Limited, a Jersey-incorporated company, and began trading in late 2021. Originally branded as Vow Currency, the project now operates under the Vow Foundation and serves as the unit of account for an ecosystem focused on retail rewards and discount vouchers. The Ethereum contract is 0x1BBf25e71EC48B84d773809B4bA55B6F4bE946Fb, and the BNB Chain contract is 0xf585B5B4f22816BaF7629aea55b701662630397B.

The Vow concept positions the token as a decentralized alternative to centrally issued cashback and stablecoin rewards. Tokens are distributed to consumers through the Vow app, while participating merchants accept them as discount vouchers at the point of sale. The protocol targets price stability by setting a fixed acceptance rate at checkout rather than relying on a peg, and merchants act as the decentralized backstop that gives the token its redemption utility. The app itself is operated by Liquidity Education Limited, a UK subsidiary wholly owned by Vow Limited, with payment services provided through Circle.

Vow Limited holds consent from the Jersey Company Registry, part of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, which does not classify the token as a regulated security but requires the issuer to meet standards for governance, investor disclosure, and anti-money-laundering compliance. The total supply is approximately 1.13 billion VOW, fully circulating at present, with no further inflation built into the contract.
