Bzetmex

Bzetmex is a cryptocurrency exchange and wallet provider founded in 2022 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. The platform operated under the legal entity Bzetmex Teknoloji Anonim Sirketi and offered trading across more than 90 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin. Bzetmex provided an instant buy and sell tool supporting 14 crypto-to-fiat pairs, allowing users to convert Turkish lira and other local currencies into digital assets directly.

The exchange was available through mobile applications on iOS and Android as well as through a desktop interface. Bzetmex stored 95 percent of cryptocurrency holdings in multi-signature wallets with advanced encryption, keeping the majority of funds in cold storage. The platform implemented a tiered Know Your Customer verification process and operated in compliance with Turkish financial regulations including anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism requirements. Bzetmex reported to relevant financial intelligence bodies in Turkey and monitored transactions for suspicious activity.

Bzetmex is no longer operational and the platform has been discontinued. The original domain bzetmex.com has been taken over by an unrelated third party and no longer hosts any exchange functionality. The exchange subdomain exchange.bzetmex.com is also offline. As a relatively short-lived entrant in the Turkish cryptocurrency market, Bzetmex operated for approximately two to three years before going offline. No official announcement was made regarding the closure.
