DexAge

DexAge is a decentralized exchange project founded in Nigeria by Precious Kenneth Wogu, who also founded ngexchanger.com. The project aimed to build a multi-tier decentralized trading ecosystem offering peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading, crypto-to-fiat transactions, P2P lending and escrow services. DexAge conducted an ICO that ran until February 2019, issuing DXG tokens as ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain with a total supply of 5 billion and a soft cap target of 5 million USD.

The DXG token was designed to serve multiple functions within the planned ecosystem. Token holders could stake DXG to receive a share of 30 percent of platform revenue, and the project committed to using 20 percent of revenue to buy back and burn tokens until 50 percent of the supply was removed. The platform also planned to include a chat-based dApp where users could send and receive DXG tokens, a referral program rewarding participants with tokens, and a governance system allowing stakeholders to vote on platform decisions as part of a transition toward a decentralized autonomous organization.

The DexAge exchange platform was never fully launched beyond a minimal viable product demo. The website remains online but only displays the original ICO landing page with no functional trading interface. The DXG token is still tracked on Etherscan with approximately 27,646 holders, but the token price has dropped to effectively zero. The project shows no signs of active development or community engagement.
