ELLIPAL Cold Wallet 2.0

The ELLIPAL Cold Wallet 2.0 was a second-generation air-gapped hardware wallet produced by ELLIPAL, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency security company. It has since been superseded by the Titan and Titan 2.0 lines and is no longer sold on the official ELLIPAL store. Users who own the device can still use it, but prospective buyers should consider the current Titan 2.0 or Titan Mini instead.

The Cold Wallet 2.0 used a fully air-gapped design, meaning it had no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB data transfer, or any other network interface. All transaction signing was handled via QR codes scanned between the device and the companion ELLIPAL mobile app on iOS or Android. Private keys were generated and stored on the device and never left it. The device featured a 4-inch touchscreen and included anti-tampering technology with an auto-wipe mechanism that triggered if physical intrusion was detected.

Security was built around a 24-word BIP39 seed phrase with an optional 25th passphrase. The wallet achieved Common Criteria EAL 5+ certification for its secure element. Backup of the seed phrase was supported through ELLIPAL’s own Seed Phrase Steel product. The companion app supported buying, selling, swapping, and staking through integrated third-party services.

The Cold Wallet 2.0 supported over 10,000 cryptocurrencies and tokens across multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Tron, Solana, and a range of EVM-compatible networks, along with ERC-20, TRC-20, BEP-20, and other token standards.
