BlockBooster (BBT) is a cryptocurrency that aims to build Hong Kong as a hub for Web3 innovation. It hosts Hackathons inviting top Web3 social entrepreneurs as mentors to incubate and select high-quality projects from developers in the Asia-Pacific region. The goal is to establish a long-term incubation program based in Hong Kong, collaborate with major Builder communities, and solidify Hong Kong’s position as the core hub of Web3 entrepreneurial talent in the Greater China region and APAC. With support in funding, community, marketing, and business, BlockBooster seeks to create a Web3 world center in partnership with the University of Hong Kong.

The Hackathon focuses on binding top industry ecosystems and attracting developers from the Asia-Pacific region. It promotes alpha-driven information exchange and asset discovery with market-leading products and community builders. BlockBooster aims to enhance Web3 experiences through NFT-based interactive activities, registering and opening Web3 wallets, and using NFTs as community contribution tokens for ongoing operations. The hackathon also aims to provide industry mentors to share expertise on Web3 Social development trends, market status, and development ecology, helping developers find entrepreneurship directions that meet market demands.

During the Hackathon, startup teams will receive support from mentors who will provide feedback on product PMF, market strategy, contract auditing, and more. This support aims to help entrepreneurs calibrate product positioning and accelerate product development. The Hackathon concludes with a Demo Day, where top industry VCs and exchanges are invited to participate, helping entrepreneurs connect with top investors and industry resources. Additionally, BlockBooster partners with Gitcoin/Dorahack to promote match funding for the hackathon theme, further supporting the growth of innovative projects in the Web3 space.
