Hedge USD is designed to be secure and reliable, with fully backed collateral and a collateral ratio of at least 110%. This ensures the stability and peg of the token, making it redeemable at any time for its underlying value of $1. Through Hedge’s 0% interest vaults, users can access interest-free loans, while leveraging with Hedge provides longer-term leverage positions at lower perp funding fees. The protocol’s solvency is maintained by a stability pool that liquidates risky vaults, and all collateral is securely stored in vaults without being staked or placed in other protocols.
