What is Chaching?
Cha-Ching was a cryptocurrency wallet management platform built to let users consolidate access to their existing exchange and wallet accounts in a single interface. Rather than functioning as a self-custody wallet that holds private keys, it operated as a portfolio aggregator: users connected accounts from services such as Coinbase and Binance and could view and manage their holdings without copying and pasting individual wallet addresses. The project was co-founded by Thomas Schultz, who served as its CEO.
The platform was active from at least mid-2019. Its stated goal was to reduce the friction of juggling multiple exchange logins and wallet addresses for users who held assets across several services. The site was built on Wix and positioned as an all-in-one management layer rather than a new custody solution. Specific mobile app listings for iOS or Android could not be confirmed in the available archived sources.
In terms of supported assets, the project’s own metadata cited Bitcoin, Ethereum, Coinbase, and Binance as key integrations. Beyond these four references, a comprehensive list of supported blockchains or tokens is not documented in any available archived source.
By 2022, the chaching. The tech domain displayed a parked page, and by 2025, it was listed for sale through a domain monetization service. No announcement of an official shutdown was found. The project appears to have quietly ceased operations, with the domain eventually sold off.
