Bitcoin Confidential, a sister coin of SmartCash, is a Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrency focused on confidentiality and privacy. It uses “Ring Confidential Signatures” and is based on the latest Bitcoin codebase for compatibility.
Bitcoin Confidential will not have masternodes. The blockchain will be secured by holders staking their coins, who will then be rewarded for their contributions.
The initial distribution was done via an airdrop to SmartCash holders. On December 15, 2018, a SmartCash blockchain snapshot was taken at 07:00 UTC. If you held the private key, you could claim 10 BC coins for every SmartCash coin.
