About Fuzzybear
Fuzzybear ($FUZZY) is a community-driven memecoin issued on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The project takes its name from one of the earliest XRPL accounts: shortly after the genesis wallet was activated in January 2013 and Opencoin (later Ripple) opened its own wallet in February 2013, an account named “Fuzzybear” appeared on the ledger and went on to become a piece of XRPL folklore. The token launched as a tribute to that early account and has built a small but active community of XRPL users who treat Fuzzybear as a cultural mascot for the network.
From a tokenomics standpoint, $FUZZY has a fixed supply of 321 billion units, no transfer tax, and a fully burned liquidity pool. Because the token is issued natively on the XRPL rather than on Ethereum or a Solana-style chain, transfers settle in three to five seconds at a fraction of a cent per transaction and rely on the XRPL’s existing consensus protocol for security. Holders need to set a trustline to the project’s issuer account (rhCAT4hRdi2Y9puNdkpMzxrdKa5wkppR62) before they can receive or trade the token, a small one-time step that is standard for every XRPL-issued asset.
Trading happens on the XRPL decentralized exchange and on aggregators such as First Ledger, Magnetic, XPmarket, Sologenic and Horizon, with wallets like Xaman, GateHub and Joey commonly used for custody. The Fuzzybear ecosystem extends beyond the token itself, including an NFT collection, a meme generator and an active Telegram community that drives most of the day-to-day engagement.
