Bitoreum Network Exchange

Bitoreum Network Exchange was the native spot trading platform for the Bitoreum ecosystem, a decentralized exchange built to serve users of the Bitoreum blockchain. Bitoreum was a fork of the Raptoreum codebase, designed around an ASIC-resistant Proof-of-Work algorithm that supported both CPU and GPU mining. The exchange offered trading in Bitoreum (BTRM) and related assets without reliance on a central custodian, positioning itself as a fully decentralized venue within its own network.

The platform incorporated privacy features inherited from the Bitoreum protocol. A CoinJoin mechanism was integrated directly into the wallet layer, enabling users to obscure transaction histories without requiring a separate mixing service. Transactions on the network were designed to be fast and low-cost. Network security was reinforced by a Smartnode consensus layer, which the Bitoreum team stated made the network resistant to 51% attacks. These features were central to the exchange platform’s pitch as a privacy-conscious, community-run trading environment.

The Bitoreum Network Exchange went offline in February 2025. The website is no longer accessible and the exchange is classified as inactive. The underlying Bitoreum blockchain was itself a fork project with limited market presence. Historical data, including the exchange’s social channels on Twitter, Discord, and Telegram, remain on record.
