Coolwallet

CoolWallet is a hardware wallet developed by CoolBitX, a Taiwanese company founded in 2014. The wallet is designed in the form factor of a standard credit card, pairing with a companion mobile app over encrypted Bluetooth to manage crypto assets, NFTs, and decentralized applications from cold storage. The lineup currently includes three models: the CoolWallet S for long-term storage, the CoolWallet Pro aimed at more active users, and the CoolWallet Go, a batteryless entry-level option that uses NFC.

The CoolWallet Pro uses a CC EAL 6+ certified secure element, the same certification tier used in banking hardware. All cryptographic operations are performed on the device itself; only encrypted results are transmitted via Bluetooth, so private keys never leave the hardware. The companion app supports both cold and hot wallet modes within a single interface and includes:

• A Web3 browser for DApp interactions
• Native staking
• Fiat on/off ramps
• A smart scan feature that flags potential phishing transactions before signing

• Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Polygon, Tron, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, Cardano, XRP Ledger, and Cosmos (30+ main chains total)
• Custom EVM network support for any EVM-compatible blockchain
• Token standards: ERC-20, BEP-20, TRC-20, SPL, Jetton, and Sui custom tokens
• NFT standards: ERC-721 and ERC-1155 (over 12,000 custom tokens in total)

Since 2014 the company has reported no hacking incidents and has built a user base of over 300,000.
