BlockDAG (BDAG)

BlockDAG (BDAG) is a layer-1 proof-of-work blockchain that combines a directed acyclic graph (DAG) structure with the GhostDAG consensus protocol, drawing technical inspiration from Bitcoin and Kaspa. Unlike traditional linear blockchains, BlockDAG processes multiple blocks in parallel, allowing honest concurrent blocks to be included in the chain rather than discarded. The network launched its mainnet on February 10, 2026, following a two-year community presale that began in December 2023. BDAG is the native token of the BlockDAG network, with a fixed total supply of 150 billion tokens.

The BlockDAG architecture targets approximately 2,000 transactions per second at launch, with a roadmap toward 5,000 TPS, alongside full Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility for smart contract deployment. Token distribution allocates 50% of supply to mining rewards, 33.3% to the presale, 12.7% to community and ecosystem development, 3% to exchange liquidity, and 1% to the team under a two-year lock. Mining is accessible via the X1 Miner mobile app and dedicated ASIC hardware units (X10, X30, X100). Staking launched on February 19, 2026, allowing BDAG holders to earn rewards by locking tokens in staking contracts. The token is also used to pay transaction fees across the network.

BDAG is listed on multiple centralized exchanges including LBank, BitMart, CoinStore, Pionex, and Biconomy, with trading commencing in early March 2026. The project was funded entirely through community presale participation across 29 batches, with no venture capital involvement. BlockDAG’s presale figures have attracted scrutiny from independent analysts, with reported totals ranging between 00 million and 42 million depending on source and methodology. A BEP-20 bridge token on Binance Smart Chain (contract: 0x1eCA4Fb4eB6bB917f5EC7726869eD7422b6D1d65) facilitates trading on decentralized exchanges, alongside representations on Ethereum and Base.
