Cardstarter (CARDS)

Cardstarter (CARDS) is a decentralized accelerator and swapping platform that aims to connect early-stage Cardano innovators with a community of donors. It is the first insured project accelerator for Cardano, providing financial protection against the risk of DeFi exploits and Vaporware for its community backers. Through Cardstarter, projects can raise capital before having a deployable contract, allowing developers to support all associated costs that come with building confidently. The platform also offers access to the Card Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides successful project applicants with valuable developmental resources.

Cardstarter selectively lists projects launched through its platform, subjecting them to diligent vetting to ensure quality assurance. It also operates an insurance fund to provide donors within the community with a sense of financial protection against potential project failures. Cardstarter also offers token vouchers for projects that launch directly to various blockchains. These vouchers allow users to exchange tokens 1:1 on Mainnet deployment for projects destined for Cardano. With its subscription model, $CARDS token holders who qualify for the linear system are guaranteed varied allocation to early sales of projects launching through the platform.

The Cardstarter team comprises experienced professionals in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. The Chief Executive Officer is Aatash Amir, who has supported communication and marketing for projects that have grown to above $350 million in market capitalization. Brandon Kazakoff, the Chief Operating Officer, has extensive experience in enterprise software, enterprise data management, AI, and blockchain. Ashwin Somasundaram, a Senior Operations Advisor, has a nontraditional medical background and is a physician-scientist focused on systems biology and tumor immunology. The team also includes Anthony Grosso, Neyma Jahan, and Topher Bradshaw, each bringing expertise and valuable contributions to the project.
