CleanCarbon (CARBO)

CleanCarbon (CARBO) is a blockchain-based coin that combines the benefits of blockchain technology with Waste-to-Energy installations. The project aims to promote a circular economy and support local economies by converting organic waste products into hydrogen-rich syngas using Ultra High-Temperature Gasification (UHTG) technology. The Pilot Project, currently under construction in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, consists of smaller and larger units for research and main operations. CleanCarbon plans to start global expansion after completing the tests and is financed by a VC investor and EU subventions.

The CleanCarbon project utilizes Waste-to-Energy systems powered by UHTG to produce energy in the form of syngas. This sustainable and efficient technique allows for multiple applications of syngas, including using waste heat to generate power, producing electricity through gasification, direct burning as an alternative to traditional gas, hydrogen separation for various purposes, producing liquid fuels, and chemical production. The asset-backed CARBO token directly connects with the CleanCarbon solutions company and its physical Waste-to-Energy installations. It is a payment method with contractors who reward users for green activities.
